Are you ready, #ATKFans? Its got to be a heck of a game tonight, where two inform teams go head to head against each other, Mumbai City FC & Atlético De Kolkata! ⚽

Atlético De Kolkata having played two games, drawn one & won one would look to register their second win against the Diego Forlan led side.

Coach, Jose Molina has started his ISL Journey quite well, but things are little difficult today as Marquee-Man, Hélder  Postiga might not be available in today’s game, as he is nursing a rib injury & a swollen leg.

That’s not all, Oftense Nato & Bikash Jairu, two mainstays of ATK’s midfield are also unavailable for today’s game.

ATK’s defense looks solid, keeping the sloppy goals conceded against CFC aside. Though Debjit Majumdar has done reasonably well in the two games he featured, today’s game would be the real test for any goalkeeper as Mumbai City FC has a great attacking line. ATK’s midfield would improve in today’s game, as Bikramjit Singh is fully fit now & is available for selection!

Absence of Postiga would mean that the burden of goal scoring rests on the heavy shoulders of forwards, Iain Hume & Juan Belencoso with Javi Lara & Doutie petroling the flanks & splitting the defense & these two lads have anyways looked solid. Lara having put up an awesome performance against KBFC, is expected to deliver once again!

Mumbai City FC will be on a high after winning both their opening games. Things look to get better as the winger, Sony Norde is available for today’s game, after the Haiti matches got postponed! But MCFC Marquee, Diego Forlan is likely to miss today’s game, due to the niggle suffered in the match against North East United FC!

Players to watch out for :-

1. Juan Belencoso : Absence of Postiga means that the only striker available for today’s game is Juan Belencoso. Having played over 70+ mins in the KBFC game, he is likely to feature in today’s playing XI and if he has to make a 100% utilisation of this opportunity, he has to play 10 times the way he played in Kochi!

2. Javi Lara : Having scored his first goal of this season, Lara would look to dominate the midfield with his lucrative skills once again!

3. Iain Hume : The Superman-From-Canada has to fill in the big boots again! Though his performance hasn’t quite ignited yet, its just matter of one or two good goals that a player of his clasa finds his rhythm back! How can we forget that what he did when he came Mumbai last year, yes you got it right.. A HAT-TRICK!!

4. Debjit-Savejit, this is what he is fondly called.. and he needa to justify this today.. Up against the likes of Forlan Norde and Defenderico, he has to lift his game up to the top-notch!

5. Tiri : He has been quite consistent since the last season.. He had to fill in the big void left by Josemi, and boy, he didn’t disappoint at all. The onus is all on him as he has what it needs, to stop the likes of Forlan, Norde & Defenderico from scoring!

Do catch us live from Mumbai Football Arena, at Star Gold, 7 PM onwards, where Atlético De Kolkata look to complete some unfinished business against the host, Mumbai City FC! Shout Out Loud, #AamarBukeyATK! ☺⚽
