Debjit Majumder

ind India
Current Team
2015 - Season 2, 2016 - Season 3

Having made his senior debut for East Bengal, Majumder endured the heartbreak of two runners-up medals with the 2011/12 I-League and the 2011/12 Federation Cup.

Subsequently he transferred to Bhawanipore, a team in the second division of the I-League in 2012. Notably, the team came within a point of qualifying for the first division, narrowly losing out to Royal Wahingdoh. Nevertheless his efforts behind the goal went noticed with his transfer to East Bengal’s arch-rivals Mohun Bagan for the 2014/15 season.

Needless to say, he was a vital cog in the Maroon Brigade’s I-League triumph this season, with 6 clean sheets in 14 appearances, including one against his previous team and arch rivals, East Bengal.
